Why do we ask you to inspect your order for accuracy and defects within 7 days?  The anodizing process for closet rod is like baking cookies, if you leave them in 30 seconds longer or shorter they turn out a little different than the previous batch.  When we get new containers of closet rod, their color could be slightly different than before and therefore if you wait for months to open your box, then discover something is wrong or missing, the replacement rod could be slightly different than your original order.
