TUBE110-5-DC – Round 5ft 1-1/16 diameter closet rod. Dull Chrome.

This 1-1/16 diameter aluminum tubing is extruded with 2mm thick walls. Although lighter than steel aluminum offers comparable performance with a high load bearing capacity.

Cuts are accurate to within +/- 1/16 of an inch.

    Our rods are Anodized. Anodized =   The mechanical properties of anodize are a surface condition. They make the immediate surface “Harder”, but NOT stronger. Anodize increases wear resistance by covering the surface with a material that won't wear away as easily.

    That being said,  Say you have a bridal shop where the hangers are constantly being moved back and forth, I would recommend a Polished finish rod (Polished Chrome or Polished Brass) which hold up even more.  If you are worried about scratching your closet rod I would also recommend plastic or plastic coated hangers.     We have not had any home owners call and say their closet rods are all scratched up.
